July 19, 2011 ~ Beautiful trees on either side of the Chemung River.
September 13, 2012 ~ The same trees on the south side of the river.
December 19, 2012 ~ Those same willow trees.
Same scene. Something’s missing. Where, oh, where, have the willow trees gone?! Plus there’s only two trees left across the river.
I’ve been told the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) maintains both sides of the river (mowing, etc). I wonder why they cut down these beautiful trees?

ReplyDeleteOn the left is the rear view of the Radisson Inn and on the right is the other part of their building across the walkway. To my direct right would be a medical supply store in that same building. Straight ahead is the west end of Market Street. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
