Giving thanks in Corning, New York
It's the day before Thanksgiving 2012 here in America. I'm thankful that the weather is mild enough to get out and around. I'm grateful for smiling strangers.
I'm thankful for the striking blue water in the Chemung River. It's usually a drab brown, but today from where I stood on the south side, it was an amazing blue color.
The blue sky also took my breath away.
Wegmans' parking lot on the day before our American Thanksgiving is PDF ~ pretty darn full!
LOOKING BACK, I'm also thankful for...
The survival and the growth that came out of the l972 flood.
Trained emergency personnel who are always here to aid us.
Tiny acorns that grow into giant trees.
Our flag and all it represents.
The freedom to lay in the sun and enjoy it!
Happy Thanksgiving to those of you celebrating this American holiday!
