Corning NY's playground build, Day #2

Day #2 of the Koala Run Playground build.

The bus took me partway there.

Corning’s southside is an uphill climb.

Sunshine and wind (that’s wind, not breezes) combine to begin drying out the muddy mess the ground has become.

Carder Elementary School students pitched in to “soap” screws for the wooden playground structures. Pictured is my 3-year old grandson helping out.

Notice the blue tent blown over by the winds.

I worked 8 AM to noon again today, so the photos don’t show the whole of today’s work. Some of yesterday’s volunteers stayed until 9 P.M.

Remember... you can click on any photo to enlarge it!

I returned to the work site after supper and took more pictures...
