Wegmans

My week and my walks are not complete without at least 2-3 stops at Wegmans. Sometimes more. Groceries, meds, plants, coffee with or without a freshly baked snack, and I often relax while reading the newspaper.

Even on rare days when I’m not in the mood to socialize, I can still count on friendly smiles from employees and shoppers, including those I’ve never met.

Wegmans is a supermarket. And... Wegmans is a social event.

Tastings introduce us to new foods or new ways to fix old favorites. Wendy has a way of making vegetables taste wonderful!

Even the littlest shoppers enjoy a trip to Wegmans with a quick stop at a special bakery bin for a free small bagel or chocolate chip cookie.

Once a month Kids in the Kitchen for those 4-years old and older. My grandsons have been joining me in these fun learning events for over a year now.

Wegmans landed in third spot this year, their 14th year on Fortune magazine’s list of top 100 companies to work for!

Peanut butter made in the store. I love this no-sugar, no-salt version...

Join me and we’ll wander through the aisles...

Bite me...

Ah, Baker Brad, this looks so-o yummy...

What kid doesn’t like to check out the lobster tank! Victor helps one pose for the camera.

Have you tried CocoPops yet?

  1. I didn't know about 'Kids in the Kitchen'. Sounds fun. I'll have to find out more about it!

  2. Kids in the K has had a very low turnout for the past 4-5 months, then we weren't able to attend the last one and I heard today there were about 15 kids in attendance. Wow! Look on W's site under events. Always on a Saturday, usually 1-2 PM, $5 for child and adult. Healthy, tasty and fun foods.
